Backing Breakthrough Technologies



We joined a $3.2M funding round of Sparxell, the UK-based trailblazer founded by University of Cambridge scientists, with their fully biodegradable pigments from cellulose.

Earth VC Fuels Aalo Atomics' Vision for a Sustainable Nuclear Future in a $27M funding round, bringing their total raised to over $33M!

Aalo Atomics' Co-Founders

Orbillion Bio is at the forefront of cultivated meat technology. Their innovation reduces land use by 95%, water use by 78%, and emissions by 92%, while achieving price parity with conventional beef. They aim to emerge as a leading B2B supplier of beef muscle and fat cells, with a focus on the ground beef market.

Kuva Space


Kuva Space Hyperfield-1 launched into orbit on August 16th aboard SpaceX Falcon 9 on the Transporter-11 mission.

Blykalla


Since announcing our investment in Blykalla in April 2024, the startup has doubled its Series A round from 80 mSEK to 160 mSEK, with the extension round led by Joachim Ante's 92 Ventures and Daniel Aegerter's ARMADA Investment AG.

Group14 Technologies


Group14's joint venture with SK Inc. shipped SCC55™ silicon battery material to 100+ manufacturers, marking the debut of high-density, fast-charging EV batteries.


Aalo Atomics


Aalo Atomics signed an MOU to deploy seven Aalo-1 reactors, delivering 75 MW of clean power to Idaho Falls. This marks the beginning of a partnership that could span 80 years.

Treetoscope


Treetoscope partners with Nutalia Agroconsultores to develop SapSense technology in southern Spain and Portugal, giving Nutalia preferential access to optimize irrigation and boost profitability for growers.

Our Principal Duc Pham, attended the Bits & Pretzels, dived into the latest trends and innovations, backing breakthrough technologies in one of Europe’s biggest tech hubs, and reconnected with our founders from Orbillion Bio (YC W21) and Blykalla.

AVPN Southeast Asia Thought Leaders Forum 2024, September 24-25, Cebu, Philippines


The AVPN Southeast Asia Thought Leaders Forum 2024 addressed the investment gap and highlighted impact-investing in Southeast Asia.


What made this forum unique? No formal speakers—everyone contributed, enriching discussions on net-zero transitions and impact investing. Associate Nam Tran found inspiration in this open dialogue, gaining key insights into bridging the investment gap and driving change.

Another initiative that we've been thrilled to launch in the past months is Code Green, a collaborative project by Earth Venture Capital Foundation and Digital Futures Lab. This is part of our ongoing efforts to give back and support climate-tech education and research, extending beyond our VC investments.


So, what is Code Green about? The newsletter and podcast series will explore AI's role in climate tech, simplifying these topics, showcasing their impact, and assessing tech adoption factors.
