Job Description

Blykalla is collaborating closely with ABB to develop cutting-edge electrical systems for SMRs, bringing nuclear technology into the future by leveraging advanced technical solutions to create safe, reliable systems.In this role, you will lead the joint development program, working directly with our external partner. You will be responsible for overseeing project planning, conducting technical assessments, and managing system integration to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality outcomes in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems.What you’ll get to do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for electrical systems, collaborating with our external partner to ensure alignment with project goals and technical standards.

  • Oversee the design and integration of high and low-voltage systems, ensuring they meet rigorous safety and efficiency criteria.

  • Coordinate technical reviews, quality assurance, and risk assessments related to electrical components.

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resources for electrical projects without direct managerial oversight.

  • Support regulatory processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards for power systems.

  • Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with other disciplines to achieve cohesive, reliable solutions.

Requirement

  • An experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in power systems, preferably with a background in nuclear, renewable energy, or another high-reliability sector.

  • Adept at managing technical projects with external partners, ensuring effective communication and alignment of technical objectives.

  • Proficient in high and low-voltage systems and familiar with industry compliance and regulatory requirements.

  • Organized, proactive, and skilled at coordinating complex projects from planning to completion.

  • A collaborative, independent professional who can lead without formal managerial authority.

  • Fluent in English, spoken and written

  • Fluency in Swedish, spoken and written
